It's a historic moment for an Indian female actor, as previously, only legends like Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan have had film festivals dedicated to them. The festival's trailer features clips from some of Kareena's most beloved films, including her roles as Poo in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', Geet in 'Jab We Met', and the titular character in 'Chameli'. More details on the festival will be shared soon.
Kareena took to Instagram to express her gratitude, writing, “The blood in my veins, the magic on screen… my job I love… the fire within… here’s to the next 25 (red heart reactions). Thank you to @pvrcinemas_official & @inoxmovies for curating this beautiful festival… so humbled.”
Kareena Kapoor made her debut in 2000 with JP Dutta's 'Refugee' and has since appeared in over 50 films, including 'Chameli', 'Omkara', '3 Idiots', 'Jab We Met', 'Udta Punjab', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', and 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. Up next, she will star alongside Ajay Devgn in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again'.
