An Indian leaf monkey Thursday crossed the Pakistan border and reached Islamia University Bahawalpur campus located in Bahwalnagar.
Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department told media that they did not have the tranquilizers— a drug that calms and soothes and reduces stress and tension required to catch loose animals.
The officials said Indian leaf monkeys took refuge in the adjacent jungles located near the IUB campus in Bahawalpur.
