Prime Minister’s legal advisor, Barrister Aqeel Malik, stated that the release of the founder of PTI is not part of the agenda for the ongoing negotiations.
He emphasized that there would be no leniency or deal under the guise of dialogue.
Barrister Aqeel further clarified that the desire for relief related to the events of May 9 could not be granted.
He added that the committee will define the terms of reference (TOR) and the agenda before any further discussions take place.
The legal advisor also stated that negotiations cannot proceed while calls for civil disobedience are being made, underscoring the need for a cooperative approach in the talks.
