Lahore Deputy Commissioner has submitted a reply to the Lahore High Court (LHC) on the plea of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) public gathering at Minar Pakistan on 14th August and informed the plea has been rejected.
“Lahore 14th August is Independence Day, citizens celebrate Independence Day and citizens visit Minar-e-Pakistan on August 14,” the Lahore DC lawyer said.
“Due to the law and order situation, PTI cannot be allowed to hold the rally,” the DC Lahore.
LHC Justice Muzamil Akhtar Shabbir heard Akmal Khan’s application.

Earlier, Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon denied the request of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a jalsa in capital.
The deputy commissioner gave multiple several reasons for the rejecting the plea of PTI.
