Newly-appointed Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson has removed three names from the squad selected by the selectors for the upcoming series against Bangladesh.
Sources divulged on Wednesday that the selection committee had initially included Abbas Afridi, Sufyan Muqeem and Haider Ali in the squad. However, Mike Hesson replaced Sufyan Muqeem with Faheem Ashraf and Haider Ali with Hussain Talat.
According to sources, selectors met with Mike Hesson and Aaqib Javed in Islamabad to finalise the squad.
The selection committee was also considering resting Naseem Shah. Moreover, Mike Hesson dropped Abbas Afridi and retained Naseem Shah in the final squad.
