Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said on Tuesday that India cannot unilaterally suspend the Indus Waters Treaty.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Khan warned: “If India terminates the Indus Waters Treaty, it would amount to a declaration of war. PTI stands firmly with the armed forces and the nation in defence of the country. Pakistan has both the right and the capability to defend itself.”

Commenting on recent developments, he added: “Today, we were scheduled to meet with PTI founder Imran Khan. However, in fulfilment of our national responsibility, we proceeded to Parliament.”
Khan maintained: “It is our right to visit Adiala Jail. It would have been better if Imran Khan’s family had been allowed to meet him today.”
