The price of gold in Pakistan saw a massive third consecutive increase on Friday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by a huge Rs2,200, settling at Rs276,900, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold hiked by Rs1,886, taking it to Rs237,397.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a rise of $22 on Friday, reaching $2,657 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver in the local market remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
