According to Indian media, clashes have resulted in three farmers losing their eyesight due to pellet injuries, while more than a hundred protesters have been severely injured and admitted to hospitals.
Haryana police have reportedly used tear gas shells and rubber bullets against the protesters in an attempt to halt their march towards Delhi, as stated by Indian media.
The Health Minister of Punjab expressed concern over the use of pellet guns, attributing the loss of farmers' eyesight to their usage.
Despite the heavy-handed tactics of the Modi government, farmers have declared their determination to continue the march until their demands are met, asserting their commitment to their rights, according to Indian farmer representatives.
