A case of an alleged hand grenade attack on former Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar's house has been registered in Lahore’s CTD Police Station.
Serious provisions including terrorism and interference in government have been on behalf of CTD retired constable Sajjad Hussain.
According to the text of the FIR, unknown suspects threw a grenade in the garage of the house, which affected two vehicles and broke the windows of the house, while three people including two police officers were injured.
The CTD officials said that the investigation has been launched with collection of the evidence from the crime scene.
It is suspected that some ‘banned outfit’ is involved in the incident as efforts are underway to identify the assailants with the help of closed-circuit footage.

As per the initial reports garnered, the assault, marked by the explosion of a hand grenade at his home in the provincial capital's Garden Town area, has left two policemen injured. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.
Injured police personnel were identified as Muhammad Amir and Khurram Shahzad.
Authorities swiftly responded to the scene, cordoning off the area and launching a thorough investigation into the appalling attack. Security agencies are actively engaged in uncovering the motives behind this disturbing act, aiming to identify the perpetrators and ensure swift justice.
