Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has welcomed the United States’ ban on the Balochistan Liberation Army and the Majeed Brigade.
He said it was a major success for Pakistan that the US had recognised Pakistan’s stance. He said that India had not forgotten its humiliation at the hands of Pakistan and called India’s move to halt Pakistan’s water a cowardly act.
On the political front, Bhutto-Zardari recalled that one political party had attacked military installations. He said that under the 18th Amendment, his party had transferred the responsibilities of 40 federal institutions to the provinces. He added that the law required a new National Finance Commission (NFC) Award every five years and urged that a new NFC Award should be issued without delay.
