The National Logistics Corporation (NLC) has completed the reconstruction of the Hub Bridge, restoring a crucial transportation link between the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan that was destroyed by floods in 2002.
The newly constructed two-lane bridge, spanning 488 feet across the Hub River, has resumed operations, facilitating smoother traffic flow on the N-25 highway connecting Karachi, Quetta, and surrounding regions.
The bridge's completion marks a significant improvement in regional connectivity, reducing travel times and logistical challenges that have persisted for nearly two decades. Commercial vehicles and passenger traffic can now move continuously between the two provinces, supporting enhanced trade activities and civilian movement.
