Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui said on Tuesday that the Prevention of Electronic Crimes (PECA) Act was not sacred and amendments could be made.
Speaking on Samaa TV programme "Red Line with Talat", Siddiqui said: "Journalist organisations should submit a draft of the proposed changes."
"I could play my role in incorporating suggestions into new amendments," said Siddiqui.
He said: "If PTI had participated in the negotiations, it would have gained more than it expected."

Separately, speaking to the media, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui said: "We have prepared the response but cannot reveal the details."
"Our committee will remain intact until January 31 (Friday)," Siddiqui said.
