An Islamabad district and sessions court on Saturday acquitted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat in a case related to a scuffle outside the Supreme Court.
The case against Marwat was heard, where the court reserved its verdict on his acquittal petition after reviewing the evidence.
The court acquitted Marwat and Fatehullah Burki of the charges.
It was noted that a case had been registered against PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat at the Secretariat police station.

Separately on Friday, Marwat decided to submit his show-cause response to the party via social media.
Expressing his frustration, Marwat said, "I had been served with the show-cause notice through social media. Right now, I have also decided to submit my reply in the form of a post on social media."
He further claimed, "People at the helm of affairs are denying me access to Imran Khan."
