The station house officer (SHO) of Khuzdar Counter-Terrorism Department was martyred on Sunday in a blast on his vehicle on Sultan Ibrahim Khan Road in Khuzdar.
The SHO was identified as Murad Jamot, who was posted in the Khuzdar CTD police station.
Police said the SHO was martyred in the blast and two other people were injured.
A police team reached the spot, and shifted the body to a hospital.
A few months ago, another SHO of the CTD, Sharbat Khan, had been martyred in a similar bomb blast.
'Long march'
On the other hand, a long march against the Kech incident reached Khuzdar where a large number of young people, including women and children, are marching. The march will leave from Khuzdar for Quetta on Sunday.
