The Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore has granted bail to former police inspector Abid Boxer in a case related to his alleged escape from police custody and the snatching of government weapons.
Judge Arshad Javed heard Mr Abid's bail application and granted him bail against Rs1 lac surety bonds.
Abid Boxer, who has been embroiled in this legal battle, strongly refuted the police's allegations, asserting that they are false and that he is more than willing to face the trial to clear his name.
