Pakistani fans were stopped from chanting Pakistan Zindabad in the stadium during the ongoing Pakistan versus Australia match in India World Cup 2023 on Friday.
A video has gone viral showing a police officer forbidding a Pakistani fan in the crowd from chanting Pakistan Zindabad.
In the video, the police officer can be seen asking the fan to say Bharat Mata Ki Jai which is a slogan in praise of India.
The fan says Bharat Mata Ki Jai but when he reiterates Pakistan Zindabad, the police officer and another stadium official stop him.
It's shocking and upsetting to see that people are being stopped from cheering "Pakistan Zindabad" at the game.
