The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) staged a rally in Quetta on Sunday in solidarity with the Palestinians.
The participants of the rally urged the global community to take notice of the violence and atrocities faced by the people of Palestine. “Even the Muslim leaders are silent over the violence faced by Palestinians.
"Muslims from all over the world and entire Pakistanis are standing by the people of Palestine,” the protestors added.
The protestor rued, “The so-called democratic forces are violating human rights by supporting the Israeli atrocities”.
Earlier, JI senior leader Hafiz Naeemur Rehman announced a rally in solidarity with Palestinians in Karachi on October 15 (Sunday ).
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Naeem schooled the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC), saying, ‘’The OIC remains silent on the issue after passing a single condemnation resolution.’’
He urged the country’s government to send the army to help the Palestinians in these difficult times.
