A ceremonial event marking the birth anniversary of Pakistan's founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was held at the Martyrs' Memorial in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, with significant civil and military participation.
The ceremony featured a formal guard of honor presented by a contingent of the Pakistan Army. The Commissioner of Muzaffarabad, Station Commander, and Sector Commander ISPR laid floral wreaths at the memorial as part of the commemoration.
Civil society members joined military and civil officials in large numbers for the event, which included a cake-cutting ceremony led by the Muzaffarabad Commissioner and military officials to mark the occasion.
Speaking at the event, Muzaffarabad Commissioner Masood-ur-Rahman emphasized the significance of Kashmir to Pakistan, stating that "Kashmir is Pakistan's jugular vein, and Pakistan remains incomplete without Kashmir." He added that Kashmiris continue their struggle for the two-nation ideology.
The commemoration also featured children's performances, including speeches about Quaid-e-Azam's vision and principles, along with patriotic songs.
The event brought together various segments of society in Azad Kashmir to mark the birth anniversary of Pakistan's founding father through a combination of formal ceremony and cultural presentations.
