The 57th death anniversary of Rais-ul-Ahrar, Quaid-e-Millat Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas, was observed with great respect and reverence.
The central ceremony took place at Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas's mausoleum in Faizabad, Rawalpindi. Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, visited the mausoleum, where he laid a floral wreath and offered prayers. He was accompanied by former Prime Minister and President of the Muslim Conference, Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan.
The event was attended by government ministers, secretaries, political party workers, civil society members, and a large number of citizens.
Special prayers were offered during the ceremony for the elevation of Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas’s spiritual ranks, unity among the Muslim Ummah, the liberation of Kashmir and Palestine, and the martyrs of Pakistan's armed forces and the Kashmir freedom movement.
