Former Indian fast bowler Rudra Pratap Singh, who has showcased his bowling prowess, turned 39 on Friday.
Known for his ability to swing the new ball and reverse the old one, RP Singh had a notable cricketing career both in international cricket and the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Singh represented teams like Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Deccan Chargers, Rising Pune Supergiants, and Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
His potential led to India recalling him for a Test match at The Oval in 2011 after a three-year hiatus. However, he bowled 34 overs without taking a wicket in that game.
By the end of his international career, Singh had played 14 Tests, 58 ODIs, and 10 T20Is. Despite his last appearance for India coming in 2011, his contributions remain a significant part of Indian cricket history.
