Security forces conducted two successful operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and killed eight terrorists, including a key commander involved in terrorism on Thursday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation took place in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan, where intelligence-based action led to the killing of Khan Muhammad, alias Khori, and another militant.
Meanwhile, the security forces also arrested two terrorists during the operation.
Khan Muhammad, a notorious commander, was wanted for target killings and extortion and carried a bounty of Rs1million on his head.
The second operation occurred in Lakki Marwat, where security forces eliminated six militants after intense gunfire.
Meanwhile, the operation continued with clearance efforts to ensure no remaining militant presence in the area.
The ISPR emphasised the commitment of security forces to eradicate terrorism from Pakistan.
These operations demonstrated the ongoing resolve to counter threats and maintain peace in the region.
