Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has expressed his profound sorrow and regret over the tragic incident in which Rangers personnel were crushed by a vehicle on Srinagar Highway during clashes with PTI protesters.
The attack resulted in the martyrdom of several Rangers and police officers, with more than a hundred others injured.
In a statement, Abdul Aleem Khan condemned the violent actions of the protesters, which led to the death of four Rangers personnel and left many others seriously wounded.
"I am heartbroken to hear of the martyrdom of the Rangers personnel and Constable Mubashir. Such acts of violence against our law enforcement agencies are deeply condemnable," the Minister said.
The minister also expressed his condolences to the affected families, offering prayers for the martyrs. “I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the fallen officers. May Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of the martyrs and grant a speedy recovery to the injured,” he prayed.
"These brave officers put their lives on the line every day to ensure peace and security. Their sacrifice must not go in vain," he said.

The incident, which took place on the Srinagar Highway on Monday night, has sparked widespread outrage. Protesters, part of a PTI-led demonstration, reportedly rammed a vehicle into the law enforcement personnel, injuring many and leaving the city’s security forces reeling from the violence.
Over a hundred police officers have also been injured in the clashes, several of them critically.
Meanwhile, the President of the Insaf Professionals Wing (IPP) also condemned the attacks on police and Rangers, calling for accountability and justice for the perpetrators.
“Such brutal acts of violence against our security personnel will not be tolerated. We demand the swift identification and prosecution of those responsible,” the President said
