Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma and his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, welcomed a baby boy on Friday. The couple, who married in 2015, are also parents to a daughter, Samaira, born in 2018.
Rohit shared the joyful news on Instagram with a heart-warming caption: "Family, the one where we are FOUR," accompanied by a photo.

Earlier reports suggested that Rohit might miss the first Test of the India-Australia Border-Gavaskar Trophy, set to begin on November 22 at the Optus Stadium in Perth, due to personal reasons. India will face the Pat Cummins-led Australian team in the opening game of the five-match series.
During a press conference following India’s 0-3 loss to New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium, Rohit was asked about his availability for the Perth Test. He responded, "I am not too sure about Perth. But fingers crossed," hinting at the possibility of his absence.
If Rohit is unable to play, ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah is expected to step in as captain. Earlier this year, at an Express Adda event, Bumrah joked about his favourite captain, saying, "My favourite captain is me because I have captained in a few games. Obviously, there are great captains, but I will take my name. I am my favourite captain."
