India's football coach Igor Stimac is considering resigning after his team was knocked out of the Asian Games in the last 16 by Saudi Arabia.
Stimac has been in charge since 2019 and led India to qualification for next year's Asian Cup.
However, he has been critical of the lack of players available to him for the Games and says he needs more time to work with his team if they are to be successful in Qatar.
In a recent interview, Stimac also rubbished claims that he consulted an astrologer to pick his India teams.
He called the allegations "a disgrace" and said they were an attempt to discredit his work.
Stimac is expected to make a decision on his future in the next 48 hours.
"I rely on my work, I rely on my knowledge and I rely on what I see on the training pitch from my players. I will explain all that in detail because obviously, in recent times, some people in India are trying to discredit all my work, which has been done and executed perfectly, with some false accusations. It is really a disgrace what some people are trying to do to us before coming over here."
