Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and nominated prime minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday called on the Muttahida Qaumi Movement – Pakistan (MQM-P) delegation.
During the meeting, which focused on crucial political issues, Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the paramount importance of upholding the sanctity of the vote, underscoring the need for all parties to unite to preserve the country from economic turmoil.
Acknowledging MQM's role in averting potential crises such as default and no-confidence motions, Sharif expressed appreciation for their collaborative efforts.
Both parties concurred on the necessity of prioritizing national interests over political gains, resolving to work collectively towards serving the populace and addressing their concerns.
The MQM delegation commended Shahbaz Sharif's inclusive leadership, highlighting his adeptness in fostering unity among various stakeholders over 16 months.
Expressing optimism, they expressed hope that under Sharif's leadership, Pakistan and its people would overcome prevailing challenges.
The meeting witnessed the presence of notable figures from both sides, including Senator Ishaq Dar, Rana Sanaullah, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, Rana Mashhood, and Attaullah Tarar from the PML-N, while the MQM delegation comprised Sindh Governor Kamran Tesoori, Mustafa Kamal, and Dr Farooq Sattar.
