Six members of the same family were discovered dead in Muzdalfa Town, Chakwal. The incident, which has left the community reeling, unfolded with the grim discovery made by authorities following a distress call from Muhammad Shafqat Salim.
According to reports, Shafqat informed authorities on the 15 helpline that he had killed his wife and children. The victims identified include Shafqat Salim's wife, aged between 50 and 55 years old, along with his two daughters, aged 14 and 16, respectively, and two sons, aged 13 and 7, respectively.
It was later learnt that after killing his family, he had shot himself dead too.
