The CTD officials revealed that the coordinated operations targeted terrorist elements in Jhelum, Okara, Hafizabad, and Mianwali. The arrests were part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and ensure the safety of the populace.
During the raids, law enforcement recovered explosive materials and equipment intended for the production of suicide jackets, highlighting the severity of the threat posed by these individuals.
Additionally, authorities detained 56 suspects as part of extensive combing operations conducted throughout the week. The arrests signify a proactive approach to preempt any attempts to disrupt peace and order, particularly in light of the upcoming elections.
