The extreme cold weather continued to test the patience of the people of Lahore on Wednesday.
Lahore recorded the temperature at 5 degrees Celsius. Apart from the intense cold, the city had also witnessed an increase in smog along with the fog.
The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) said that the city will record a maximum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 4 degrees Celsius. The cold wave will further intensify the frosty weather.
Dense fog had also disrupted the traffic.
The local administration had urged the citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and ensure the use of fog lights.
