– Lahore to experience intensified cold and foggy weather –
Earlier it was reported that the meteorological department had forecasted rain for the last week of January, bringing potential relief to the dry weather.
Chief Meteorologist Chaudhry Aslam had warned of potential heavy fog during this period, shrouding the city in a blanket of mist. While it may disrupt some travel plans, the good news is that the increased humidity will help clear the air, reducing Lahore's notorious air pollution.
“The intensity of cold will increase further,” Aslam stated. “Prepare for frosty mornings and dress warmly, especially during the night and early hours.”
