Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentarian Pervez Khattak emphasised on Tuesday the need to enforce a uniform curriculum in the seminaries, public schools, and private schools.
Expressing his thoughts in Peshawar, Khattak said, ‘’It is a constitutional right for every individual to get health and education facilities.
He recalled the contributions made by his government, saying, ‘’We brought reforms to the health and education sectors.’’
Khattak lashed out at the incumbent government, saying, ‘’It is unfair that the incumbent government has disbanded the health card facility.
He asserted, ‘’We have made police and other state institutions apolitical.’’
– Ready to contest elections –
Few days back, Khattak said that despite his party being relatively new, it is ready to contest the upcoming polls.
Expressing his thoughts in Peshawar, the former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister said: “The Supreme Court’s verdict on Friday had ended all the rumours revolved around holding the elections. We welcome the apex court’s verdict.”
“Those who are complaining about not having a level playing field should contest the elections,” Khattak said.
He recounted the contributions he made to KP. “We had rolled out the health card project in KP. The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had imposed restrictions on the health card.”
