In a significant operational shift at Allama Iqbal International Airport, changes in the duties and assignments of Customs Inspectors and Superintendents have been announced.
Superintendent Anjum Shahraz, previously stationed at Sargodha, has been reassigned to report to Lahore Airport as per the recent directive.
Meanwhile, the services of Shahnawaz Langriyal have been redirected from Lahore Airport to Customs Enforcement. Additionally, Ekhta Alam, previously serving in Enforcement, has been transferred to duty at Lahore Airport.
This reassignment of roles and responsibilities was formalized through a notification issued with the approval of Chief Collector Mirza Mubasher Baig. The directive specified that all officers involved in these changes are expected to report to their newly assigned positions by January 8.
The reshuffling of Customs personnel at Allama Iqbal International Airport indicates a strategic realignment aimed at optimizing operations and enhancing the efficiency of customs services.
