Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Daniyal Aziz on Sunday offered an apology to the former prime minister.
Aziz called on PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad. Sources divulged that Nawaz Sharif had expressed his reservations over the attitude of Aziz during the meeting. “Daniyal Aziz Sahab, whatever I saw in the media was disappointing. It would have been better if you addressed your concerns to me directly.”
Aziz clarified that he could not file an application on time due to the medical treatment.
“Ahsan Iqbal, from a young age, is with me. He served the party and country,” said Nawaz Sharif.
Nawaz Sharif had been directed to sort out the dispute between Ahsan Iqbal and Danyal Aziz within the party.
The defected MPA from Shakargarh, Maulana Ghiasuddin also reached for the ticket interview. “Ghiasuddin Sahab, when did you rejoin the party?” questioned Nawaz Sharif.
