Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Amir Muqam said on Sunday that it will be better if the elections in the country are held before Ramazan.
Addressing a press conference in Malakand, Muqam recalled the cases against PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, asserting, “The bogus cases were launched against Nawaz Sharif.” He was of the view that it is important for the country to see Nawaz Sharif voted into power.
He recounted the “contributions” made by his party. “Nawaz Sharif had addressed the problems in line with the power outages and ended the menace of terrorism,” Muqam stated.
Recalling the tenure of the coalition government, Muqam said, “The coalition government had averted the risk of default.”

PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz said on Saturday that the former prime minister faced "bogus" cases.
Addressing the public gathering in Jalalpur Jattan, Maryam said: "Nawaz Sharif was allowed to contest just once every 22 years. Those who are causing uproar about the level playing field should know that Nawaz Sharif had to live in exile for 11 years."
She took a jibe at the former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, saying, "If only one person will get the facilities in the jail, then the rest of the prisoners are also having the right to get the facilities behind the bars."
