In a startling twist, Aun Chaudhry, leader of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) and former federal minister, vehemently denounced Imran Khan’s statement regarding Bushra Bibi as the “biggest lie of the century.”
Chaudhry, reacting to former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s claim that he saw Bushra Bibi’s face only after their marriage, labeled it as a colossal falsehood. Disputing Khan’s assertion, he countered that Mr Khan had indeed seen Bibi’s face multiple times before their marriage. He accused the former PTI chairman of being the foremost liar, asserting that the truth will soon unravel.
The IPP leader claimed that numerous encounters between the former PTI chairman and Bushra Bibi had taken place before their marriage. He challenged Bibi’s oath on the holy Quran, insisting that she and the ex-PTI chairman had indeed met prior to the nuptials. Chaudhry criticized Khan for what he perceived as a series of lies, stating that he himself facilitated meetings between Khan and Bibi.
Expressing skepticism about the former chairman’s honesty, Chaudhry highlighted the basis of the ex-chairman’s politics, which he believes is rooted in deceit. He expressed gratitude that circumstances led to their timely separation.
Regarding the nomination of Barrister Gohar Ali as the new PTI chairman, Chaudhry insinuated that it reflected Khan’s apprehensions. He concluded by asserting that raising one's voice against coercion equates to loyalty to the country, underlining his stance against forced actions and the nation's well-being.
