Khyber Medical University Peshawar has announced the results of the Medical College Admissions Test (MD CAT) conducted simultaneously in seven cities.
Six exceptional students have jointly secured the coveted first position, each earning an impressive 192 marks. The distinguished scholars are Taimur Iqbal, Anam Khan, Amanullah, Mohammad Matiul Azim, Asim Ayaz, and Haseeb Khan.
Following closely, five students have clinched the second position with a commendable score of 191 marks, while two bright minds have jointly secured the third position.
The overall success rate for candidates who passed the MD CAT stands at a remarkable 75%, reflecting the dedication and hard work put in by aspiring medical professionals.
46,218 students registered for the MD CAT out of the registered candidates, 34,852 actively participated in the examination while 11,366 students were unable to take the test.
In the MBBS category, 21,206 students have successfully passed, contributing to a 61% success rate.. The BDS results are equally commendable, with a 70% pass rate and 24,283 students securing admission.
