A district and sessions court in Islamabad quashed on Friday the alleged ‘’un-islamic’’ marriage case against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and Bushra Bibi.
Civil Judge Qudrat Ullah had heard the petition. On this occasion, the petitioner had decided to withdraw the case against the PTI chairman and Bushra Bibi.
‘’The hearing of the case has been fixed for November 25. I want to withdraw the case on the technical grounds,’’ the petitioner said.
The court had quashed the case after accepting the plea.

Separately, PTI Chairman refused to answer the questions of the Attock police investigation team which came to interrogate the PTI chief and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in case related to May 9 riots.
The PTI chief replied to Police team that he would only answer in consultation with lawyers or in their presence.
Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was investigated by the police team and answered the questions of the police team. Attock Police the police team left.

Lahore SSP (Investigation) Anoosh Masood addressing a press conference Friday claimed that after interviewing the May 9 riots accused persons, it was found out that it was mutiny and PTI chief had also been named in FIRs.
