Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui urged on Thursday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to avail the fresh negotiation offer presented by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), warning that avoiding dialogue would be detrimental to the party. Siddiqui, in a statement on social media platform X, stated that PTI had displayed an unpolitical and undemocratic mindset by withdrawing from the negotiation process unilaterally.
He remarked that the party had also squandered an important chance to push forward its demands through constructive dialogue.
Referring to PTI’s repeated protest strategies, Siddiqui asserted, “This vehicle of PTI has already left the station.”
He further stated that sit-ins and long marches had never led anyone to their destination in the past and would not do so in the future.
The Senator stressed that meaningful and serious negotiations remained the only viable solution to political issues.
“The sooner PTI understands this reality, the better it will be for them,” he said.
Siddiqui reaffirmed that dialogue had always been the way forward, urging PTI to act wisely and engage in talks with sincerity.
