Huda Kattan, who owns Huda Beauty, has faced both support and backlash for her stand on the Israel actions in Gaza after Hamas attack.
She used her social media to express solidarity with the Palestinian cause which led some to call for boycotting Huda Beauty products.
This dispute unfolded on her post celebrating her 40th birthday at Atlantis The Royal, a luxury resort in Dubai.

Amid birthday wishes from fans, one Instagram user expressed concern that her stance on Gaza might lead Israelis, who are fans of her and her products, to stop supporting her.
They suggested this could negatively affect the company's shares.
One Instagram user commented, “I don’t know if you noticed, but Israelis from all over the world love you and your products. With most of their money, you chose Gaza. So remember this as soon as no Israeli buys from you again, anywhere in the world. And it’s a shame because we buy a lot.”
Huda Kattan responded, "I don't want blood money."
She has consistently spoken out on this issue and even published a blog post titled "5 Ways You Can Support Palestine Right Now" in response to escalations at the Al-Aqsa compound in May 2021.
This controversy occurs against the backdrop of ongoing conflict and Israeli violence in the Gaza Strip which has resulted in a high number of Palestinian casualties.
