Three individuals have been arrested in Kurram district for their refusal to sign the peace agreement aimed at restoring stability in the region.
According to the district administration, the arrests were made to ensure the implementation of the decisions made by the Apex Committee and the provincial government. The district authorities reaffirmed their commitment to enforcing these decisions at all costs to maintain peace.
In addition, the district administration registered cases against individuals who staged a sit-in outside the Parachinar Press Club, blocking the road in violation of Section 144 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The administration confirmed that legal action will be taken against those involved in this protest.

Meanwhile, security agencies have arrested another suspected terrorist in the case of the attack on Kurram Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud. The number of individuals arrested in the case has now increased to three. The authorities are continuing their operations to apprehend the remaining two suspects involved in the attack.
The district administration has assured the public that efforts are underway to open blocked roads and ensure smooth movement throughout the region. Operations are also being carried out to arrest any remaining suspects linked to both the peace agreement violations and the attack on the deputy commissioner.
