Pakistan opener Saim Ayub was ruled out of the ongoing second Test match against South Africa in Cape Town on Friday.
According to details, Ayub had injured his ankle while fielding. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had said that the X-Ray and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of Ayub were conducted.
The reports had been sent to the specialist doctor in London.
Moreover, the PCB said, "The specialist doctor will decide the future of Saim Ayub after checking the reports."
Meanwhile, Pakistan was looking to level the Test series against South Africa to conclude the series before the forthcoming home series against the West Indies.
