The price of chicken increased again on Friday in the Sindh's provincial capital.
According to details, the chicken was being sold at Rs740 per kg. However, chicken was being sold at different rates in the different areas of Karachi.
Due to the inflated chicken prices, the masses in Karachi were facing hardships preparing meals.
The Karachi commissioner said that the price of chicken had been fixed at Rs635 per kg.
The shopkeepers said that the price of chicken went high due to the difference between the demand and supply.
It is pertinent to note that the price of chicken in Karachi had increased by Rs300 to reach Rs740 per kg within the last three days.
