Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar found himself on the receiving end of a playful jibe from Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
The encounter at the Narendra Modi Stadium was a day of mixed fortunes for Shoaib Akhtar.
The former fast bowler had stirred the pot before the India-Pakistan match with a tweet that, unfortunately for him, backfired spectacularly as Pakistan faced a humiliating defeat against their arch-rivals.
After the game, Sachin Tendulkar, regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time, couldn't resist the opportunity to have a friendly banter with Shoaib Akhtar.
Akhtar's tweet before the match had read, "Kal agar asa kuch kerna hai, toh #ThandRakh," which can be translated to "keep calm if you want to do something similar tomorrow."

In a light-hearted response, Tendulkar playfully mocked the legendary Pakistani pacer, saying, "My friend, aap ka advice follow kiya aur sab kuch billlkoool THANDA rakha….😋," which translates to "My friend, I followed your advice, and everything was kept absolutely cool...😋."

The banter between these two cricketing greats added an extra layer of excitement to an already heated rivalry. In the actual game, India emerged victorious with a convincing 7-wicket win.
Rohit Sharma's impressive knock of 86 runs, featuring 6 fours and as many sixes, played a pivotal role in India's success.
On the other side of the pitch, Pakistan struggled, managing only 191 runs, as five Indian bowlers shared the spoils, each taking two wickets. It was a game that reminded cricket fans of the electrifying India-Pakistan encounters that have thrilled audiences for decades.
