Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari said on Wednesday that the province was witnessing prosperity in all of the sectors.
Expressing her thoughts, Bokhari stated: "There is an aim to show the entire world the image of beautiful and peaceful Pakistan. The world will see the development of Punjab under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz."
She took an indirect jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, saying, "The player who became the country's prime minister but he did play with the country's fate. That player came into power and left the people lamenting."
"It is easy to talk about challenging the writ of the state," said the provincial information minister.
Few days back, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz had approved the construction of three police stations for anti-narcotics measures.
A meeting of the Department of Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control was chaired by the chief minister. It was decided to form a new department dedicated to drug prevention, while additional measures include 13 excise checkposts being built to stop drug smuggling.
The meeting was briefed that the work for e-registration of vehicles had started, while tax collection had increased by 12.5%.
