Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed on Sunday the Pakistan Army’s commitment to the total eradication of Fitna Al Khwarij.
Upon his arrival in Wana, the COAS was warmly received by the Corps Commander of Peshawar. He vowed to pursue them and their facilitators until their complete elimination. "We will continue to track them down, along with their abettors, financiers, and those provoking terrorism," the COAS said, highlighting the relentless pursuit of those involved in terrorist activities against the state.
COAS Munir made it clear that individuals involved in criminal activities against the nation will be made to pay a heavy price for their actions.
He emphasised that those who incite terrorism and provide financial support to such acts will also be targeted.
The COAS praised the courage, resilience, and determination of the security forces, stressing that these qualities were the foundation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
"Law enforcement agencies and the armed forces are the true heroes of the nation," he added. "The bravery and dedication of our young soldiers inspire the entire nation and serve as a source of motivation for the people of Pakistan."
