Authorities have identified the five Pakistani victims of the recent boat accident off the Greek coast. These individuals were part of an illegal migration attempt facilitated by human traffickers.
The identified victims include:
- Sufyan, 22, son of Irfan Arshad, hailing from Pasrur.
- Owais, 17, son of Nematullah, from Pasrur.
- Abid, 12, son of Javed, from Pasrur.
- Zain Ali, 14, a 7th-grade student and the eldest of four siblings, from Narowal.
- Ehtesham, from Mandi Bahauddin.
Families of the victims revealed that hefty sums were paid to human traffickers for the ill-fated journey. Zain Ali's family said they struck a deal of Rs2 million with the 'agent', and had paid Rs400,000.

The tragedy also affected residents of Kamoke tehsil, with seven individuals from the area reportedly aboard the doomed vessel. Among the missing are Ali Haider and Muhammad Zahid. Fortunately, some youths from Kamoke survived the ordeal, including Umair, Bilal, Qasim, Abdullah, and Osama.
The families of the deceased and missing have called on the government to take strict measures against human traffickers exploiting vulnerable individuals. They also request the swift repatriation of bodies and support for the survivors.
