Twelve children sustained serious injuries when a school van plunged into a ditch in Zalim Kot, a suburb of Malakand district, on Monday.
The incident occurred as the van, carrying children home after school, lost control and veered off the road into the ditch.
According to Levies personnel, local residents rushed to the scene and rescued the injured children, transporting them to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Batkhela for medical treatment.
Hospital authorities have confirmed that all 12 injured children are out of danger and are receiving necessary medical care.
