Security authorities have recently dismissed false claims of an attack by the Indian army on Mandhol village and labelled them as part of a plot by the enemy to mislead the public and erode trust in the military.
According to the investigation by security agencies, the allegations were found to be groundless.Local residents also rejected the claims, describing them as an enemy attempt to undermine the nation's morale by spreading falsehoods and instilling fear. "Such tactics will not succeed, as our resolve remains unshaken," one local resident stated.
They reiterated that the Pakistan Army, which has played a crucial role in the country’s security, would continue to safeguard national integrity. "We should stand united with our military and counter these baseless conspiracies. Truth will always prevail," the statement added.
Security sources further confirmed that the reports of an Indian assault on Hajira, Azad Kashmir, were part of a planned hybrid warfare strategy using social media. “No such event has occurred before, nor has it happened now. These claims are being spread by elements working to advance the Indian agenda," said a security source.
Experts noted that this is a tactic aligned with Indian intelligence strategies, aiming to sow discord between the public and the Pakistan Army. "India is trying to stir unrest in Azad Kashmir, similar to what it did in the past in Bangladesh and Balochistan," one expert explained.
Local administration authorities confirmed that no Indian soldiers crossed the Line of Control (LoC) into Pakistani territory. "The Indian army did not enter any neighboring homes. Our posts are vigilant and closely monitoring the area," said an administrative official.
The Poonch deputy commissioner also addressed the allegations, calling the claims spread through social media accounts "fabricated and a creation of miscreants." He assured, "The local administration is on the ground, and no evidence of such an incident has been found." He further stated that action was underway against the individuals and social media accounts responsible for spreading these unfounded rumours.
