Dozens of dogs accompanied by their human companions paraded through the streets of La Paz on Saturday, spreading holiday cheer during the traditional Christmas celebration.
Dogs of various breeds, including Pekingese, wore Christmas-themed costumes as they strolled along the main avenues. Many stopped to interact with spectators, creating a joyful atmosphere.
The parade also featured people of all ages dressed as characters like the Grinch, Santa Claus, gingerbread cookies, angels and elves, who danced and played music, adding to the festive mood in the crowded streets.
Participants took the opportunity to express their hopes for peace and a resolution to Bolivia's ongoing government issues during the lively event.
