Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Tuesday lambasted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying the embattled party had made a “fake” narrative of the deaths of the workers.
Expressing his thoughts in Islamabad, Tarar stated, “Those who hurl allegations of the opening of fires should provide evidence as well. The state has maligned in the guise of a fake statement about the dead bodies.”
“These people have resorted to wicked tactics to hide their political defeat. Some of them are talking about 5,000 dead bodies, while others are claiming the deaths of 200 people. Now, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan is talking about the deaths of 12 people,” Tarar said.
