Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar averred on Sunday that former federal minister Murad Saeed had led the violent protest staged by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to spread unrest in the country.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Tarar said, “Murad Saeed is hiding in KP CM House. It does not feel good to raid the CM house for his arrest. The reports were there that bloodshed will be done in the guise of the protest.”
He rebuked the embattled PTI, saying, “The purpose of the party was to spread anarchy in the country by taking away the lives of the people.”
Tarar stressed the need for forming the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) task force to ensure the accountability of the bogus posts on social media.

“Those who are staging the politics on the deaths will face the heat. We will bring all the culprits to justice,” Tarar said.
He stated, “The people of KP are against the politics that revolve around the anarchy.”
“The weapons purchased on the expenses of the KP government were used during the protests. The Afghan was accused, among other protestors arrested. The illegal Afghan citizens were the violent group.”
He said: “This protest was illegal because the high court had not allowed it to be staged.”
“What is the reason to give a call of protests on the occasion of foreign delegations’ visit to the country?” he added.
